E-waste Management

E-waste, consisting of discarded electrical and electronic devices, has become one of the fastest-growing waste streams worldwide. According to E-waste Rule 2016, any electrical and electronic equipment that is no longer wanted or functional, as well as rejected from manufacturing and refurbishment processes, is termed as E-Waste.

Reasons to Recycle E-Waste

As E-Waste contains many recoverable materials such as aluminum, copper, gold, silver, and other phosphorus metals, they can easily be recycled, reused, and refurbished instead of landfilling them.

In contrast to this, it also contains various hazardous metals like mercury, lead, cadmium, beryllium, and chromium, which can destroy the soil and water.

Recycling of metals from old electronics promotes energy conservation, reduces pollution and greenhouse gas emissions, and preserves new resource usage.

As E-Waste is a progressive waste stream, it occupies a lot of landfill space so by recycling the discarded electronic waste, you can save a lot of landfill space.

You can also contribute to society by donating used electronic items to people in need instead of giving them for recycling.

Benefit of recycling of E-waste

Your one stop solution for electrical & electronic recycling, now in INDIA

E-waste contains many valuable, recoverable materials such as aluminum, copper, gold, silver, plastics, and ferrous metals. In order to conserve natural resources and the energy needed to produce new electronic equipment from virgin resources, electronic equipment can be refurbished, reused, and recycled instead of being landfilled.

E-waste also contains toxic and hazardous materials including mercury, lead, cadmium, beryllium, chromium, and chemical flame retardants, which have the potential to leach into our soil and water.

Protects your surroundings- Safe recycling of outdated electronics promotes sound management of toxic chemicals such as lead and mercury.

Conserves natural resources– Recycling recovers valuable materials from old electronics that can be used to make new products. As a result, we save energy, reduce pollution, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and save resources by extracting fewer raw materials from the earth.

Helps others – Donating your used electronics benefits your community by passing on ready-to-use or refurbished equipment to those who need it.

Saves landfill space – E-waste is a growing waste stream. By recycling these items, landfill space is conserved.

Do’s & Don’ts

Always look for information provided in the catalog with the product for the discarding or dismantling procedure.

Do not dismantle your electronic Products on your own.

Make sure that only authorized recyclers handle the repairs or disposal of your electronic products.

Always reach out to us at our e-waste authorized collection centers to dispose of the electronic products that have reached their end-of-life.

Do not give e-waste to any unorganized sectors like Local Scrap dealers/ Rag Pickers.

Always drop your used electronic products, batteries, or any accessories when they reach the end of their life at your nearest Authorized E-Waste Collection Centres/Points.
